Match Review LS7 | Sri Pahang FC 1-1 Selangor FC | Time To Work Harder

So far, Selangor FC is 2nd in the Super League with 13 accumulated points from seven matches; four wins, one draw and two losses. In addition, 12 goals were scored by eight scorers, namely three goals from Ronnie Fernandez, two goals from Yohandry Orozco and Alvin Fortes and Aliff Haiqal Lau, Noor Al-Rawabdeh, Reziq Banihani, Zikri Khalili and Quentin Cheng each scored one goal.

According to Nidzam Jamil, Head Coach of Selangor FC, not proud of the draw.

"I respect and praise the Sri Pahang FC squad because they were able to survive until the end of the match even though they were missing one player. This situation was not easy for them but they performed well,”

“This is the team's first point for the away match, there were several chances we missed to get more goals. Definitely not something to be proud of but we have to deal with this situation better in the future. However, I see effort and many positive things but football is separated by the result, we need to get a win for the next match." explained Nidzam Jamil.

This Saturday (3 August 2024), the Red Giants squad will receive a visit from Terengganu FC at the MBPJ Stadium for the second Piala FA Semi-Final action at 9pm, which is also the deciding match for the team that qualifies for the Finals of this competition for the season 2024.

The Selangor FC management believes that this 1-1 draw will help the team to work hard to make improvements from every aspect, both individually and as a team. Go on, strong Red Giant!
